Participants will review the eight-phase EMDR protocol applied to a Telehealth relationship and how to incorporate EMDR into your Telehealth practice. This course is perfect for anyone who was originally trained in EMDR but is having a difficult time adjusting to a Telehealth platform.

At the end of this workshop, the learner will be able to...
Describe how to set up a strong therapeutic relationship using Telehealth.
Explain how to conceptualize the 8 Phases EMDR via Telehealth.
Demonstrate how to prepare clients for EMDR via Telehealth.
Describe how to determine which types of bilateral stimulation to utilize with our clients.

About the Trainer

DaLene Forester, PhD, LMFT, LPCC is an EMDRIA Approved Consultant and Trainer. She has a successful private practice in Redding, California, supervises interns, and specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and PTSD. In addition to her psychotherapy practice, DaLene is a CAMFT Certified Supervisor, a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist and an approved Continuing Education provider with the California BBS, California Board of RN's, EMDRIA, APA, and NBCC. Advanced Education Institute (AEI) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 6657. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. AEI is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. This program qualifies for 1.5 credit hours.

Attendance at the entire program is required for CE Credit.  No partial Credit will be awarded.
